■Scam Alert

FairGuide.com and EXPOGUIDE Scam Alert!

With the ongoing solicitations, SEMI would like to continue to alert you to the two organizations soliciting internet Event Directory listing information in a misleading manner. The two organizations are Austrian based FairGuide and Mexican based ExpoGuide By submitting these forms, exhibitors are contracted into a three-year, non-retractable agreement totaling nearly US$3,000. This is an on-going issue and is not related to the SEMICON Taiwan 2016 Event Directory. These companies do not represent SEMI in any manner. If you receive a form from these companies, please ignore it.

If you are a U.S. company that has been targeted by either organization, it is important to lodge a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov) file a complaint online.

Additional information on the Expo Guide, Fair Guide and other Construct Data Verilog publications is available on the UFI (www.ufi.org)

Exhibitors who tend to apply for Early Hall Access must hold the Exhibitor Badges. On the first day of the show, exhibitors are permitted to enter the Exhibition Hall two hours before opening (08:00AM), one hour before on the 2nd and 3rd day (09:00 AM); and remain for half hour after closing to service their booths (17:30 on September 5-6; 16:30 on September 7). For security reasons, exhibitors intending to start earlier or stay later must obtain prior permission from SEMI, if there is any extra cost from extending working hours, exhibitors are responsible for all costs.

Exhibitors needing to stay after posted hours to work within their booth on equipment and/or their display will need to obtain an "After Hour Pass".

Exhibits may not be dismantled nor equipment removed from the booth before the official closing time on Friday, September 7, 2018.
